HOTEL NILES ISTANBUL
The building
Hotel Niles Istanbul epitomizes refined Classical Turkish style, seamlessly integrating modern amenities with a heartfelt tribute to the rich tradition of Turkish interior design. The hotel is composed of two adjacent buildings, each offering a distinct ambiance. One building showcases traditional design elements in their full splendor, with intricately crafted furnishings and authentic details that reflect Turkey’s architectural legacy. The other offers a more contemporary aesthetic, subtly accented with classic touches for a balanced, modern elegance.
Every aspect of the hotel’s atmosphere pays homage to Turkey’s cultural heritage, creating a harmonious blend of authenticity and sophistication. Nestled within Istanbul’s Beyazıt district, Hotel Niles stands as a testament to both simplicity and tradition, comprising two distinct buildings that cater to various tastes and preferences. In one building lie the smaller standard rooms, each spanning 15 square meters and adorned in a simple yet modern style, offering a cozy retreat for guests. Meanwhile, the second building boasts authentic junior suites, as described earlier, featuring exquisite Turkish hamam-style baths and furnishings that offer an interpretation of traditional Turkish house inner design. Additionally, Hotel Niles presents the unique Duplex Suites, providing a blend of comfort and functionality with salon areas and lavish marble bathrooms, perfect for accommodating up to four guests.
Handcrafted
Introducing 'Handcrafted by Family' Tasting Experience
From March 15 to December 15, we proudly present a food tasting initiative: ‘Handcrafted by Family,’ a celebration of authentic Turkish cuisine through handcrafted tasting menus. This special offering is available most days, on our scenic rooftop terrace.
The menus are lovingly prepared by Nurgihan Duyar, our beloved daughter-in-law and the wife of hotel manager Ozan Duyar. Drawing on cherished family recipes and using only the finest vegetable-based ingredients, Nurgihan crafts traditional Turkish delicacies with care and passion. Each week features a rotating selection of seasonal dishes, ensuring a fresh and dynamic culinary experience.
Each menu includes a combination of items. While not all items change every week, some dishes rotate regularly to offer variety and reflect seasonal availability.
Past menu highlights have included:
- Hummus – a rich and velvety chickpea dip
- Muhammara – a savory blend of walnuts, red peppers, and spices
- Celery with Quince – a refreshing and tangy combination
- Stuffed Leaves – delicate vine leaves filled with a savory mix
- Stuffed Peppers – tender peppers filled with flavorful bulgur and herbs

WHERE WE COME FROM
Niles and Dersaadet Hotels
Hotel Niles Istanbul opened its doors in 1987 and hosted a large variety of guests, from traders to travelers. It went through a major renovation in 2013 and now hosts guests in a traditional Turkish Style setting.
The buildings that Dersaadet now operates in were renovated from 1995 to 1997 as a hotel, in accordance with the architectural texture and structure of the building and the area it resides in. In an effort to protect the characteristics of the building and its harmonization with its traditional structure, some physical aspects of the Dersaadet Hotel look and feel different than those of a typical hotel, in size, form and layout.
Dersaadet and Niles are managed by members of the Duyar family, together with a group of keen tourism professionals – genuinely kindhearted people – who share the same philosophy of hospitality.
